One of the core principles of this blog is to highlight and showcase initiatives done elsewhere on the planet that can be duplicated, replicated, and done here in New Zealand.  This is what Startup Canada is all about.  There is heaps of commonalities with Canada and NZ from the monarchy to the Commonwealth of Nations, to language and people.  Both countries are also the home of a multicultural society.  Both countries also have their own indigenous cultures.  The Maoris for NZ and the First Nations for Canada.  With all these common factors it would be interesting to know and find out the businesses that can make it in either country.  And this website would be a good starting place!
